Comparing two versions of a document by eye is slow and error-prone — a single changed word in a long paragraph is easy to miss. Diff algorithms solve this by computing the shortest set of insertions and deletions that turns one text into the other, the same idea behind version-control tools like Git. This checker works line by line: lines that only exist in the modified text are highlighted green, lines that were deleted are highlighted red, and unchanged lines stay neutral. Typical uses include reviewing configuration changes before deploying, checking what an AI assistant rewrote in your draft, comparing API responses between environments, and proofreading translations. Paste the original on the left and the new version on the right, then hit Compare. Everything runs locally, so confidential documents never leave your machine.
